What is clax?

Clax is a portable keyframing engine, designed for demos. Originally,
it was supposed to be a 3D Studio keyframer, but it became a portable
keyframing engine with alot of goodies, so i decided to release it.
If you don't know what demo scene is, visit Hornet Archive now.
Please note that clax itself is not a full 3dengine, but a keyframing
only engine, although i wrote a full-featured 3dengine as an example
of using clax (included in distribution). Clax is designed to fit in
any 3dengine, without any major changes to clax and/or the engine
itself.

Why this name? Well, i don't know, ask Paso/Esteem as he gave me
the name Clax.

This is my second engine i write in C. If you want to see my old
engine, check out the Download page, and download the source
code!

Who are the authors?

Well, Borzom (its me!) and Adept/Esteem are current authors of clax.
Borzom is the project manager, and main coder.

Compatibility
Clax itself, should compile on any ansi-c compiler, and any platform,
and even works on 16 bit compilers such as Borland C 3.1. However,
hardware modules included in current distribution (used by examples)
supports the following platforms/compilers:

Operation system Graphics interface Compiler Compiler version tested
UNIX X11 GNU C 2.7.2
Linux SVGALIB GNU C 2.7.2
DOS VGA GNU C (djgpp) 2b
