The Beginning

To the left is Me (blue) and my partner (Tim: Black).  This would be the only two images before anything ever happened to the buggy after we got it.  For what has been done look below.

This is the place for more pictures of the buggy and our repairs on it.  Click on the thumbnails to view a larger picture.  Some of the older pictures come first, don't have too many of them, and the ones that the frame looks blue, its actually gray primer, don't know why it looks blue, must have been the lighting.  These have all been taking off of a video tape so it there are lines on it that's why, but most of them turned out fine. Hope you enjoy them.

  • 4 wheel cylinders (2 front 2 rear)

  • Heavy-Duty Throw out Arm

  • Heavy-Duty Clutch Release Bearing

  • Yellow Axle boots (set of 4)

  • 12V 7" Extra bright Halogen sealed headlamp

  • Wiring Harness kit (for dune buggies)
  • Spring Kits for Brakes (Services one Axel(2 wheels))
  • Rear Bumper
  • Skid Plate for rear bumper
  • Heat exchange eliminator pipes
  • Ignition coil upgrade (Bosch)
  • Starter
  • Regulator for alternator
  • Air Filter

All items were purchased from JC Whitney

I have also purchased these items for Larry's Offroad Center

After all those purchases I finally got an Engine off a friend and now the buggy runs and moves under its own power. We are one step closer to getting done.  Not that we   are really ever close b/c I plan on working on this forever.  This is my toy and will never be done, there are always things to do, you just hafta figure out what they are.

Here are some images taken of the running model. Follow me to Thumbnails of Dune buggy

This is the best way to start it, at least until the new starter comes.

Go Here for pictures of starting the baby up and pictures of me driving it.

And here to see something I didn't think would ever happen.

Here is Tim riding on the dune buggy too. I think that's everyone for now, till Melf comes home.
