Thanks for your time, this piece hopefully gives rise to empathy and conversation. I suppose I set it up to dazzle and confuse when all I should do is tell my simple stories well and not over elaborate. The stories give separate angles to my life, with some unwelcome common threads (the north of Ireland), that link them. I was trying to set up each story as a separate strand, but even there I fail. 'Try gain, fail again. Fail better' - Samuel Beckett. That is it I strike out and try without expectation of success.

I apologise for my over intricate text, it is there to hide the bareness of the ideas underneath. My text wonders for very little point, but I hope you find some humanity in there, in the struggle to reinvent and push back against the waves of media constantly breaking over me. I seek to drag you in, but the answer is for me to push out to recognise myself in others and not set myself apart. My setting apart does not even work, for as I explain myself, people identify with my struggles, I think myself a lock, but so many people hold the key. Enjoy, empathise, react against the text, I hope it leaves a desire for more, but anyway tell me what grabs you and what does not.
