Andy's 6th Annual Picnic
at Buddy Attick Park, Greenbelt, MD
What
It's that time again. Andy's 6th Annual birthday picnic is just around the corner. Its at Buddy Attick Park in Greenbelt (AKA Greenbelt Lake). If you need directions, go here. You may have trouble finding us, as we are usually back in the woods a bit. When you enter the park, we will be on the hill to the left of the main main gravel trail, facing the lake. If that's confusing, go to the red "x" on this map (The little one near the lake, not the 95/201 intersection.)
When
This year the picnic will be held on June 14th, starting around noon. It will continue to whenever. Me and Jess have a wedding to go to on the 31st of May (my birthday) and June 7 is the Race for the Cure, so its a little later than normal this year.
Menu
The menu for this year will include the grilling staples -- burgers (beef and veggie) and hotdogs. Me and Jess will also bring some beer-cheese fondue. For fun, I'm going to try something truly interesting I saw on Iron Chef -- steamed fish wrapped in dough, cooked over an open flame. I will supply a limited number of two liters. Please bring something else to share -- soda, chips, cookies, veggies, potato salad -- whatever.
Guests
I will maintain a guest list here so you can know who else said they would come. Feel Free to bring others. HELP ME! I don't have contact info for some people. Take a look at this list and see if you can help me.
Gifts
Okay... A shameless plug here, but it is my birthday. If you want to give me a gift, here are some ideas: A gift certificate for J.C. Whitney (www.jcwhitney.com) or Target or Giant, a gift certificate or something else from Lake and Air Sport (www.lakeandair.com), a few bucks, a pilot's log book ( I only need one, though, so don't everybody get me one), Something off of mine and Jess' Hechts or Bed, Bath, and Beyond registry (or the gift you got for us and never gave us...), a Cessna, some wine-making equipment, or anything else you think I'd like... I will still feed if you don't bring a gift, though.
