1) Keyboard: Take the protective strip out of the battery compartment so that the batteries make contact and the keyboard works.

2) WARNING: NEVER insert the Smart Card into the unit until you've connected officially for the first time to WebTV's MSN TV service. In fact, since the Smart Card is still not in use it's best not to insert it at all.

If you do insert your Smart Card before connection is established you will need to return the unit to us "YOU WILL NEED TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING GOING AND COMING" and I'll activate it from this end and send it back to you. Only return the non-connecting unit and do not return any of the cords, remote or keyboard.

3) Condition of all of our products: All of our products listed on and off eBay are brand new and never used. However, that having been said, in the very highly unlikely case that you receive a unit from us and that the unit is defective we'll replace that for free.

4) Warranty Information: The unit comes with a full warranty from Sony and the brand new warranty cards are included in with the unit. If Sony for some reason does not want to cover the full 3 month warranty we will replace the unit for $20.00 and this will automatically qualify you for our one-year NW WTV Dealers' warranty plan for all parts and labor.

If you feel you need the full one-year warranty you can by adding $20.00 to your total for the complete set. This will cover you for all parts, labor and the keyboard.

5) Warranty: Add $20.00 to your total and you'll be registered for our one year full warranty.

6) All of our WebTV/MSN TV products come with both the www.webtvkeyboards.com and WebTV logos.
