Please folks do not let the message below freak you out or scare you. It is a simple html command. Believe me nobody is seeing you files there but you. When I look at it I see my files listed and when my friend looked at it he saw his files NOT MINE! As I said it nothing more then a simple html command. I would erase it for my guest book but it has been years since I maintained this page and no longer have the passwords I need to get in to this site. However I do check the guestbook about once a month to see if there is any messages I should leave. This page is really handy if you have an virus. I experinced (my english is not so good) the virusses Form and AntiEXE and also "trojan.H@keysh@@o.dll" as my old scanner (Pc-cillin) found it. Also i had a destructed windows for an month and i came from an disk. Also i have an tip: if you have an boot disk without an virus but with fdisk/format you can probarly use Fdisk to destruct your partations IF YOU PLAN TO REFORMAT BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU LOSE ALL. Also try (after backing up!) "fdisk /mbr" and if you have li ux try installing lilo (if you use linux/windows). this is standard but lilo wil disappear if you have an virus in the mbr. Ok theres a easy way to try and explain or you can go to: http://webopedia.internet.com/TERM/I/IP_address.html And see the long definition. The easiest way for me to explain in simple terms that most can understand is: Much like your phone having a set telephone number so does your service provider have one for you. (Although you may not have the same # each time) When you sign on to the Internet you get a # this is called an "ip". And like the phone company there are t ose (hackers) that can trace your #(I am not going to go into detail how they do this..just know they can). There are programs that hackers can use to find your ip and once they do they can use this information in many ways.

Check your spelling and grammar! THINK YOUR SAFE? is incorrect. It should be THINK YOU'RE SAFE? There are many text errors on your page - would be nice if you had an e-mail link as well, so I wouldn't have to put this in the guestbook. I have a question if you get a URL sent to you by someone from Icq that is NOT in your list and after looking to find info. on this person and finding there is not any (like they dont exist) Does this mean this could and mostly likey be someone trying to end me a virus???? I did not accecpt the url I cliked on delete and deleted it. Please look into this for me the ICQ number of the person is 41118327. I was just authorizedwithout permission to a number that doesnt seem to exist ... then given a URL for ICQ2000 ... I went to the ICQ main page and it only lists 99a in beta ... I normally respond directly to my guest by email however Eric the best way to protect yourself from people who ICQ you unwanted messages is to follow these steps at http://www.icq.com/features/security/security-tabs.html#ignore I didn't find a place to r port harassment's I wouldn't think they do this because it would take to much time chasing down "jerks" the best they can offer is a ignore tab. I just wanted to tell you that on the icq download page there is a download called magic spell and this is the one I got a virus from It is called w32 spacefiller virus and it was sent from Korea in April 1998. It is set to activate on the 26th of any mon h. It will attack and attach itself to all your files and destroy your hard drive if not detected in time. I know this for a fact because me and some of my friends have just gone thru the hell of getting rid of this demon!!! Beware and warn everyone you k ow NOT to download this program!!!!!

You said you add to your virus scanning program weekly....how do you do that?? I have Dr. Solomans virus scan program and have been scanning for viruses regularly. Can I get a virus by just browsing on the internet?? Don't I have to open an attachment v a email or download something to get a virus while online? I know you can get them from disks but unsure about how they get into a system while online. if you could provide me any info on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!! Jodi
