Create a Personal Web Page Editing and Tables
|
The HTML language contains numerous "tags" that can be used to enhance your pages. You can change text color
, size
, or attributes (like italics
or boldface
or -- and use blinking sparingly !!).
You can use tables to format your pages (like this page, with borders visible) or without borders (like my links page to make text and images line up in nice columns.
Editors like WebEdit and Homesite provide table building functions to simplify the basic structuring of a table. Examples of HTML for simple table constructs are shown on the table sample page.

NOTE: If you click one of the "CLICK for" icons in the tutorial, a new browser window will be opened for viewing these pages. To return, you can just select this browser (from the task bar in Windows 95 or click your mouse somewhere on this window). You can also close (or File, Exit) from the new window when done, leaving only this window.
