Camp Photo
Well, at least I look happier on this one! I had just finished my GCSEs and Tim, my brother, decided that I should shave my hair off in celebration of the occasion. It was practical in that it never required combing in the morning, but I just don't think it suits me. I'm second from the left, just next to Tom, who is leaning out at a precarious angle.
Notice all the cards with the letters on are down - the professional camera developed a problem, this picture was taken from a personal camera so no one was really paying attention.

The two Matts settling their differences
A typical evening in our Week B life. Our lantern-type torch projected shadows on the tent walls. Some unusual combat positions allegedly caught the curiosity (and the imagination) of some of the people in surrounding/opposite tents!
DIE, CAMPER, DIE!
As Matt holds Matt in a deadly death-grip, the loud cry of "DIE, CAMPER, DIE" is cut short by Paul Round's voice coming through the flap: "Keep it down, lads". Matt suddenly realised that that particular death cry was probably not particularly befitting of a leader...
The awakening
Matt enjoys a quick early-morning roll in the wet grass.
Girls
An assortment of girls of all temperaments and characters. Eyes may not be available in red. Batteries not included.
Sunset
The original picture looks better and has a place of honor on my wall, next to my door. The scan doesn't really do it justice.
"It takes a Lovell"
The Saturday night limbo competition highlights some new talent!
The Matt way
Matt is determined to get under that stick his own, personal, slightly uncomfortable-looking way. It takes precision to position your fingers in the perfect allignment, see how easy he makes it all look?
Winner!
How she doesn't brake her back is beyond me. Rachel most definitely wins the competition!
No room
The arangement and lack of seats meant that some people had to find a bit of radiator/window/person to sit on. Except, of course, for Gus, who seems to be enjoying the guitar.
Sandle!
Matt, before the morning worship, powerchording away.
Rob, Jo, and Julie
That evening session on India was really interesting. Thanks Rob and Jo! Poor Julie has one brown and one red eye! Sorry, blame my dodgy camera!

Where would we be without friends?
