VGStrategies at MININGCO Video Game Strategies at Miningco.  The biggest and best collection of Playstation game cheats, hints, and walkthroughs on the web.  More titles listed than any place else I've seen (approximately 1200 titles at last count!  to be updated), and cheats for new titles come out here sooner than any place else.  Great!

MY GAMES:  all highly recommended

These are the games that I have bought so far.  I only buy the games that are, in my mind, the best of the best, and just plain fun.  Many of these (if not all) require you to think ahead and form your own strategies to get through well, especially to have minimum loss of health and minimum ammo use.

BUSHIDO BLAD
E--An excellent one-on-one swordfighting game.  Superb animation and graphics.

BUSHIDO BLAD FAQ                  BUSHIDO BLADE PLAYER'S GUIDE

CRASH BANDICOO
T--A fun-for-all-ages game of level running and enemy stomping.  Collect crystals and find secret areas.  Corrected walkthrough is on the way!

CRASH BANDICOOT 2:  CORTEX STRIKES BACK--
Part 2 of the Crash series.

CRASH BANDICOOT 3:  WARPE
D--Part 3 of the series.  More fun, with new moves and new characters, along with Crash Bandicoot.

DOOM--
The popular 3-D shooter with excellent graphics, sound effects, and CD-quality music.  59 great levels!
Cheats and passwords in text format: DOOM.TXT     Passwords in Excel spreadsheet format: DOOM.XLS

DRIVER--
An EXCELLENT game!  I haven't played a driving game this fun in a long time.  You're an undercover cop with the job as a getaway driver for an organized crime group.  When not running from the cops, you can drive through and explore the cities, which have real working traffic systems of stop lights and other cars.

DRIVER 2--
The sequel to the previous title, this game has 4 new cities with great detail and realistic traffic systems, plus driver Tanner is able to get out of one vehicle and steal another.  On foot you can also find secret buttons that reveal secret cars, parking garages, and game cheats.  The plotline is similar to the first; you're working undercover as the driver for drug lords in a complicated plot to capture a man who is critical to the operation of two drug cartels.  Police in foreign countries speak their native language over the radio too.  One problem is that the "take a ride" mode is very buggy, especially when driving in one area of a city for a long time.  In my opinion, the game should not have been released until these bugs were fixed, but it's still a very fun game that I've been playing nearly every day for 7 months now (mostly take a ride mode; the undercover missions are done as they don't take 7 months).

DUKE NUKEM:  TIME TO KIL
L--The sequel to Duke Nukem Total Meltdown, now in a third-person perspective.  Has 2-player split-screen dukematch games!  Excellent!

DUKE NUKEM:  TOTAL MELTDOW
N--Fun 3-D shooter from the PC to the Playstation.  Now has good stereo music and great sound effects.  No known cheat codes. See my review.

FINAL DOOM
--The sequel to DOOM, has the same great graphics and sound, with 30 new levels.  Info on the way.

MDK
--This game is great fun, with excellent soundtracks on each level and very good graphics.  You are in a super-high-tech protection suit with built-in reusable parachute and sniper gun.  Aliens have taken over Earth, so you must erradicate them with many silly-but-effective weapons and power-ups.

MEDAL OF HONOR--

ODDWORLD:  ABE'S EXODDUS

POWERSLAVE (also EXHUMED)

TOMB RAIDER-
-This game is just enchanting!  The ambience of the locations and the orchestrated soundtrack are superb.  Wonderful all-around feel to the game.  I have two walkthroughs, from two sources, which I have corrected and added to where needed.  Because of poor formatting of the text versions, I also include the .DOC versions for use in MS Word or wordpad.

INFO FOR THESE TITLES SOON TO COME!

My apologies for taking so long in getting the information for these games posted here.  I am trying to gather correct information and walkthroughs for these games, and some of the documents I have which I collected from other places was wrong in some spots.  In playing the games, I wrote down correct information about actions or locations of objects, and I have to edit the documents before posting them here.  For example, the game "Powerslave":  some hint and walkthrough sources claim you can do a grenade-propelled jump, by looking down, jumping up, throwing a grenade straight down, and being propelled up even higher by the force of the blast.  I found that to be incorrect; all it does is blow you to bits.  Maybe it works in the "Exhumed" version, I don't know, but in my version of "Powerslave", it doesn't work.
