Popup Menu Demo

This class lets any of your AWT components have a popup menu. But some work out better than others. Popups work fine based on a Panel or a Label or a Canvas. They have problems if based on a Button or TextArea.

The actual Menu choices may be ordinary MenuItems, or CheckboxMenuItems. They were known to be broken for a long time, but 1.1.5 finally fixed them.

A Popup menu can have a pullright menu.

This PopupDemo.java applet demonstrates what works and what does not. The problems if based on a Button appear due to a bug in the peer,
the problems with TextArea are conflicts with the built-in popup.
It does require the 1.1 event model. If you see this you cannot run applets.
