Thought a frog "The world's alright,
a cool lily pad in the warm sunlight."
'Til a Princess gave him a terrible fright,
by kissing every frog in sight.
Throwing each back saying "You're not right,
I'll find him if it takes all night."
Through the underbrush she crashed.
He tried to hide, but she heard his splash.
Then she had him in a flash, saying
"Kiss me, Frog, and you will see
how happy as a Prince you'll be.
Pageants daily, dancing nightly.
(something)"
But the frog had been a Prince before,
and found it quite a Royal Bore.
"Fancy dress and functions official,
with lots of forks around the dish'll,
suit some folks, but won't suit me.
I'm a simple frog that likes to be free."
But it was lonely in the bog,
and she would make a lovely frog.
So he dared to make an offer bold
"Be green like me;
forsake your gold.
There are pleasures here as well.
Let MY kiss work its magic spell."
The Princess, 'though she loved to dance,
still more keenly sought romance,
and so, she thought to take the chance.

sometimes singly, sometimes doubles.
But as the days grew short and cool,
the Princess wondered, in their pool,
what the Winter had in store.
She had never been a frog before.
(ask about winters)
"We can't endure that icy blast;
we stay in the mud until it's passed.
Then when Spring is on the scene,
we reemerge all fresh and green."
The Princess now her Palace missed,
and back to human would be kissed.
(suggest half years)
(kiss and back to human)
Their friends arrived from miles around,
some by water, some on ground.
Now all join in joyous sound.
The wedding couple all do praise,
who coming from their separate ways,
their happiness together found.
And now in Summer cool and green,
frogs splashing in the pool are seen,
while in the Winter in the Palace,
