Message:   Maybe I shouldn't do this.... Mike Wyatt had a stroke, and has stage four heart disease, so please don't tell him I said so, but if you want to say hello now is probably the time. He has a hard time talking and walking but is still sharp mentally. My heart goes out to Jean Wyatt for having to lose Oscar Wyatt, and Matthew, and possibly Michael. Mike tells me his sister Margaret suffered from a stroke a few years ago, but is okay, and that Cecilia is doing well. I know the Wyatt family has meant a lot to many of us.

Message:   I don't know if I should do this, but I know how much the Wyatt family has meant to many of us: Mike Wyatt has suffered a stroke, and while he is again walking and talking, he does not believe he has more than another year left to live (heart disease). I have spoken briefly to Jean, who is doing well (it seems so sad that she may lose Mike after already losing Oscar and Matthew). Anyway, don't mention I said so, but if you want to say hello to Michael, now's probably the time. He has trouble talking, but is as sharp as a tack.

Message:   To the Class of '75; Our dear friend and classmate Charlotte Andreen Klees has died after a long fight with cancer on January 16, 2006. She was one of the most beautiful people I ever knew and it is a great loss to those of us who love her. Please pray for her son, Rob and her family. <image SRC="/ToolManager/images/WebsiteComponent/frown.gif" width="15" height="15" >

Message:   Hello from the desert everyone ... made it through another Arizona summer and can now open the windows at night instead of running the AC. Still at the paper in Lake Havasu City (just a couple of miles from the London Bridge) and enjoying it (Don't miss the foggy days in the valley, but do miss family, friends and the Giants -- even this season!). I was named news editor in February. I supervise page production at night and design the front page as well. I did a redesign in the spring and won third place in a contest won by our corporate parents. Also trying to watch my weight (aren't we all?) and enjoying the lake on my off days.

Message:   Terry, Cindy and I are sitting in my new home in Morgan Hill having a few glasses of wine, wondering if we are having a 30th reunion?! Anyone know anything? Just had a nice dinner at Sinaloa Cafe in Morgan Hill and now we're hanging out at my house reminiscing about old times. There sure were lots of those!!!! I'm teaching at Brownell Middle School. I've been teaching for the past 19 years in Gilroy. I love my house and my new love and life is good! Cindy is currently unemployed, enjoying the simple kick-back life. She's practicing for early retirement. Yes, I'm jealous. Terry is an Instructional Associate at John Muir Middle School in San Jose. She's been doing this for a little over 4 years. We're still in touch with Michele Ruth (Elliott) who's living in Galt, CA and she's doing fine. Hope all is well with EVERYONE...See you at our 30th Reunion.......

The link above is to a column by Modesto Bee sports columnist Ron Agostini (who I liked reading and competing with when I lived in the Valley) on the sports program at Turlock Pitman High School. Since Mr. Hollars is the principal there, though it would be an interesting read for some folks. Of course, here it's still basketball season ... GO SUNS!

Message:   Hello Friends and Superstars! You can get my CD - click on the address above to buy (cheap!). It's pretty good. I have a loyal following in Australia. A little country, a little swing, a little poetry, a little lullaby. Click on "Play All Songs" for best listening mode, but the CD itself sounds much better! Thanks for all your love and support. I am currently hard at work on my second music project, so stay tuned. Peace and All the Love, "Pamela Shane" (a/k/a Pam Sherman)

Message:   A Stephen McKeekan (macmeek2000[at]yahoo[dot]com) is looking for letterman's jacket from Samuel Ayer High school to award to Henry Blackwood, a high school wrestling coach in Santee, California. If any of you know of Mr. Blackwood, who is evidently from the SAHS Class of 1970 or so, or know anyone who would know him (an SAHS contemporary), please contact Stephen at the e-mail address provided. This is apparently a sentimental issue as Mr. Blackwood is retiring and has expressed fond thoughts of his years at SAHS. Well...go figure. Me too. Leo

Message:   Hello fellow students from Ayer. It was good to hear about Matt. I am still in Fremont. I found some steady work up in San Ramon. I am attending Ohlone college as well. I did a eight month tour at NASA Ames which was fun working on some space chemistry. My wife has a friend who moved near Ayer. I showed my son around where I walked from home to school - the back way through the field. Funny, while Safeway and the other stores are gone, the 7-eleven is still there. Have fun everyone. Ken

Message:   Hi everyone, just a quick note to catch up. I got back this last weekend from taking my son down to Cal Poly to start college. What a trip! Didn't know I could be so happy and so sad at the same time. Although, I would really like to trade lives with him now. He has it made. 2 miles from the beach, a campus with 2 girls for every guy, two TVs in his room, Two refrigerators, only 10 units his first quarter. Those were the days. It is strange to lose one from the nest. I am blessed cuz he is a great person and I do still have my daughter Veronica home (she is a sophmore at Westmont). I am trying to convince her to stay close to home. What's wrong with Santa Clara huh Mike? Anyway, I am back to driving her to school everyday because her brother is gone, and running shuttle to endless soccer practices and games. she is lucky to be playing premier soccer and traveling to scouting tournaments already. Anyway, that's all the bragging I can do in one paragraph :-) Hope you all are doing fine. Leah you are so awesome to keep your finger on the pulse of all this. It is no easy task. thank you for your dedication. HI PAM!! See you all soon! Kathy

Message:   Mike, sorry I got my wires crossed about the length of Matt's children's visit. Sad to say they have returned to Bali - I thought they were staying longer. I think they may be coming back again next year. They are so adorable I just wanted to squeeze them tight, but didn't want to freak them out. They are so cute.

Message:   I heard there was something in our guestbook about my recent trip to Disneyland with Matt Wyatt's children. Matt's widow, Desak, and their two children, Dewata and Dewi were staying at Matt's mother's house (in Milpitas) for the past 4 weeks and are returning to Bali, Indonesia tonight. This is the first time that Desak and the children have returned to the U.S. since Matt moved to Bali in 1997. Matt had many close friends in Bali, and I have spent time with his friends during my last 3 visits to Bali. Please let me know if you are traveling to Bali and I will put you in touch with Matt's friends. I am doing well, enjoying the fullness of life.

Message:   Hi all, Hope all is well. Wow where did the summer go? My son Seth starts 1st grade in another week. I'm so glad to hear that Matt's children live in Milpitas. Coolbeans! Mike Choy has always stepped up to the plate in all his endeavors. HE is one class act!! I'm leaving for Alaska next week for 5 days of fishing in GODs country. This is the 4th time one of my vendors has invited me to go. Can't wait. I bought a RC surfer and have been hanging out at the beach "surfing". I had to buy a radio control surfer since I couldn't surf if my life depended on it. Well class have a great labor day. Be safe and stay true. Love, Paul (big mann)
