 | Absolutely the best comic book ever drawn. The whole Asterix series is something I enjoy reading for more then twenty years and this is my favorite episode.
In this episode, our heroes, Asterix, Obelix and Idefix join to the Caesar's army to rescue the boyfriend of a girl with whom Obelix is desperately in love. My favorite character in this episode is the Egyptian. If you read this you will be an immediate Asterix fan. |

One of the finest episodes. I first read this in Turkish, with the perfect translation of Halit Kivanc, a famous soccer commentator. He formed an analogy with the Yugoslavian soccer coaches dominating Turkish National Soccer League at that time and the book was a real laughing stock. |
