Of course a nice lady reporter from America helps our very German detective to solve the mystery. The reporter is lady because in case book turns out to be a movie (and it did) it is always a couple that solves the mystery. God knows why!!!

 | Another "Middle Age Conspiricy Theory" from Eco. This time conspiriciy survives to day. Our heroes, starting with a small clue, solve a puzzle piece by piece. However, they are not aware of the fact that the secret still has its guardians.
In this book Eco gives a lot of information about the secret societies of Middle Ages, Crusades and similar things. An interesting book but I think it is a bit too long and the secret revealed at the end of the book was not very interesting. I think, all the way through the book Eco tried to find out a good "secret" and when the book is ended he just wrote the best one he came up with. |
