The Win32 GTKWave Homepage

GTKWave is a VCD/EVCD wave viewer written by Anthony J Bybell . For more details about GTKWave, please visit the GTKWave home page .
In this page I will try to maintain up to date Win32 versions of GTKWave. Other than some simple changes done a long time ago, GTKWave compiles under Win32 flawlessly (albeit with many warnings) using the Win32 port of the GTK+ and GLIB library.

Win32 specific notes

The program doesn't use .gtkwaverc for controlling the program settings. Instead, it uses gtkwave.ini, which is more windows-friendly, especially on FAT based partitions.
Also, please note I'm not actively working on this port!
I've been working recently on other projects, and I'm NOT using GTKWave on a day-to-day basis. If you (yes, I'm talking to YOU!) won't complain about bugs or other problems, they won't get fixed!
My current involvement with this project at the moment is not much more than compiling a new version when it's out, and updating this web page!
I've just fixed a major bug that lurked in the program from it's first Win32 version until now, just because no-one mailed me about it.

Downloading Win32 GTKWave

The current Win32-GTKWave version is 1.3.19.
This is a link to the binary file: GTKWave-win32-1.3.19.zip
You also need the following ZIP files, containing the some DLL's required by Win32 GTKWave: DLL-19990828.zip and zlib114.zip (zlib is required only for GTKwave version the 1.3.19 and up).

The ZLIB DLL I use was taken from: http://www.winimage.com/zLibDll/zlib114dll.zip
