Well a month has passed since I touched my homepage. The goods news is that Tripod finally reactivated my tripod homepage. Since I've used the Tripod URL to host my homepage for 3 years, I'm hereby returning there!

Tripod has responded! Due to a 'glitch' in one of their automated maintenance scripts, several Tripod pages were inadvertently removed. Tripod is attempting to restore all homepages.

Anyway, I've updated my preliminary PCDVD-test report. Remember, it's just a preliminary report. You can find it in the softdvd section of my links below.

• AVI2MPG1 - MY 'tweaked" AVI2MPG1 corrects a color-shift bug in John Schlichther's AVI2MPG1 program. My theory is that AVI2MPG1 used the wrong color-space conversion formula. Unzip my file into your AVI2MPG1 directory. (Get the full, original AVI2MPG1 from http://www.mpeg.org)
• MPEG2AVI - (v0.16B34) my freeware MPEG-1/MPEG-2/VOB video to AVI-video converter. 0.16b34 now defaults to the MMX32 IDCT (due to a bug, 0.16b33 defaulted to INT32.) The input routines also buffer the input bitstream 256KB ahead of the current file position, eliminating stalls caused by hard-disk latency.
