Return

Oh my, what a waste of my money. Zeta-Jones and Connery do not have any zing together, and as a result, the age difference between them is painfully obvious, and a major detraction from making the movie work.

Indeed, the movie has many flaws, most glaring is how Z-Jones can go from being a devilishly clever robber to one who *needs* Connery's help to pull off her ultimate heist. Not only does she need his help (somewhat believable given its complexity) but she absolutely cannot do it without him (that's the unbelievable part).

Then she goes from being a loner, trusting no one, to one who puts all her trust and faith in Connery. Another unbelievable leap of reasoning for the audience.

Finally, this movie just doesn't snap, doesn't come together, and is really very boring in places.

Not worth seeing in the movies, possibly worth viewing on video for a mild evening of entertainment. Have a bottle of wine handy, however, when you do so, it will help while away the time.
