I recently saw "Braveheart" and it reminded me of the old Wiley Coyote/Roadrunner cartoons...
Braveheart was repeatedly pummelled, sliced, diced, deep-fried and variously punished for his sins to a point easily sufficient to bring any mere mortal man to a rapid end (for which, given the poking and prodding so recently experienced, any mere mortal man would have been grateful).
But did Our Hero succumb? No way, Jose! Back for the next reel, bloody but unbowed, ready for still-another round of Human Punchboard.
When they finally did him in in the final final, I fully expected a brief screen blackout, followed by someone offscreen shouting, "One More Time!" and then, in full light of day, a patched-up Braveheart ready for once more onto the breach!
'Guy must have had one helluva good HMO!
