I’m currently working at SENTRON.Our main product is the rotating display called Vortextor.It is a vertical line of LEDs commanded by a microcontroller, giving the impression that the text has no physical support.The first 16 LED, text-only version was copied by a german company and widely distributed under the commercial name of magicball. Now we produce them with 24 LED’s having full graphic capabilities in globe and candelabrum (ceiling attachable) version. The globe version is something like this:
