After one amazing season full of suspense and struggle, Bulgaria has a new soccer champion - LEVSKI (Sofia). The Blue team from Gerena proved to everybody that it deserves to hold the two most valuable tropheys in Bulgarian soccer - The Championship of Bulgaria and the Cup of Bulgaria. Beating the direct opponents for the title CSKA three times during the spring (not without luck the last match), a humiliating 6:1 against Velbuzhd, 2:0 against Neftohimik, finishing the season with two lost matches, having the most goals scored and least scored against, LEVSKI is no doubt the best team currently in Bulgaria. The only thing the fans could wish is better quality of play, but hopefully we will see that next season. Until then lets hope that Bulgarian teams play well in the European Club Championships.
