Avis car and van rentals are generously lending me a van at no charge for next Tuesday and Wednesday. This will allow me to get all the equipment that has been donated up to Lurgan. It is from Lurgan that the 40 foot container bound for Uganda will leave in December. When they heard that the van would be used for charitable purposes they had no hesitation in offering the van to me.
I will collect the van on Tuesday morning from their premises in Dublin and will drive to Limerick to pick up all the computers that are there. I'll return to Dublin that evening. The following morning, my father and I will leave Dublin with the rest of the equipment that is here and drive up to Lurgan. We will then return that evening and leave the van back. It will be a tiring couple of days but by the end of it I hope to have all the bulky stuff up ready to go in December. Thanks again to the Container Ministry.
