TO THE L.C.C.H.S. WASHINGTON TRIP

                          A word from our organizer....

As many teachers believe having a school trip,such as the Washington trip, can help the students learn about the history of the United States and  how Canada took part in a positive way.Also they learn to work as a  group and think as group and do what's best for the group. This trip  gets  them ready for life.This trip has been going on for 8 years,and  every year it's an unforgetable experience for both the treachers and  the students.We only hope that we'll be able to continue this  trip for a long,long time.  Mr. Claude Grandchamp On June 3,1999 Mr. Grandchamp was honoured with the  award to the Hall of Fame.                          Our major Attractions
 
 

The trip started off in Baltimore and in Maryland.  As the group walked around Baltimore they saw many things.  They visited the National Aquarium. And in Maryland they      went to the Science Center where they all had a great time.  To see the sights of these 2 beautiful city's you can go to the  following address,just click:  Annapolis-Maryland

Once in Washington the students went to Arlington Cemetary.This is where  they saw where John F. Kennedy and his family are bury.  If you would like to get more information and the background of Arlington  Cemetary you can click on  Arlington .  The students also went to other Memorial's.

The White House.This is where history is made  by every Prez.This is a major attraction for  people all over the world.The White House is one  place that the students enjoy to see.  If you would like click on White House to get a  tour of the house.

For the nights out,the teacher's took the students to                   PLANET HOLLYWOOD and on another night they went to                       HARD ROCK CAFE.On both nights the students went                                           out with the stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
