LIFE...is precious....so very precious. So often and so easily, we get caught up in our daily routine, that we forget to stop, and REALLY look around, at all that we have to be thankful for!!
There are times that life lifts us up, AND, lets us down. There are no predictables, even the best laid plans, can be turned topsy turvy, in a matter of moments.

We all get frustrated, we all become confused at one time or another; we all wonder if we are doing the right thing. But that is what makes this life we live, an adventure! After all, doubt is a part of everyones journey. But I think that if we take the time to listen to our hearts, and His will, we WILL do the right thing, and we WON'T go wrong, especially if we put God; in control of the helm.

He should be the Master of our lives, and the Captain of our ships, for who better to guide our boat, than the Master of the wind and sea!! He has never failed me in the thirty-one years that I have been here, on this earth, and as I look back, I can

see Him walking beside me, and yes; even carrying me, the entire way.

I may disappoint Him, but He has NEVER let me down!! There are times that the storms come, and they rock and beat and batter the boat, the water gets high, and sometimes you fear you may even capsize; but always remember this: That no matter how long the storm rages, and no matter how dark it gets, if you can just HANG ON...

But man, can it ever get hairy!! When the wind is

screaming,

take over your heart, and emotions like a runaway train!!

WATER IS POURING IN....and your HEART is POUNDING.

But that is what He is waiting for, for us to call on Him, and that is when He steps in, and He DOES calm the storm.

The storm is over, and the waters are calm, and the sun shines again, but all of a sudden, you realize that you are adrift.

It is in THAT moment, at that period of life when you realize the wind is gone;
gone, and your sails don't fill, and you are just sitting there, looking at your reflection in the glassy waters, and wondering how in the world, you got so far off course!!

Well, He is there then, as well. It is in that time that He allows us to rest, to reflect, to ponder the path at our feet, and to make the necessary course corrections, that will take us back to where He wants us to be!!

And then..there is that wonderful, moment, when we know that something AWESOME is about to happen!! We hear the breeze pick up, and the sails begin to shuffle, and little butterflies start bouncing around inside you, and you are frozen with anticipation!! Far off in the distance, you hear it,
you know that music..

And then, in one exhilarating instant, with a deafening CRACK!!! and BLINDING SPEED, the sails SNAP forward, and fill completely, and it is like all the philharmonic orchestras in the WORLD start to play in your head, and when they do, you know that they are playing your favorite song, and that you are moving again, and back on course!!

It is God's reward to you, for sticking it out, and being faithful to what you know is right, and for just waiting on, and TRUSTING in His wisdom, and not your own!!

So you are sailing again, and all is well with your world, and you are stronger, and wiser and happier, you are a better person having weathered another storm!!!

So sail on, when the odds are against you, and dont worry about things that you have no control over!!

Lay the sexton down, and don't depend on the stars for your navigation, trust the One who made the stars!!!

The following is a poetic verse that was laid on my heart, about three days ago, I hope that you enjoy it!

LIFE'S JOURNEY

ALONE ON THE WATERS OF LIFE,
IT FEELS I AM SAILING AT TIMES,
BUT I KNOW IN MY HEART,
THAT THE CLOUDS HAVE TO PART,
YES, I'LL SEE THE SUN, ONCE AGAIN!

THE STORM HAS UNMERCIFULY BATTERED,
AS THE SAILS HANG FROM MASTS, ALL A' TATTERED,
BUT THE WINDS HAVE SUBSIDED,
AND THE SHIP HAS ARIGHTED,
AND THE HINT OF A BREEZE I CAN FEEL!

I BEGIN THE REPAIRS OF MY BOAT,
AND I'M GLAD THAT SHIP IS A~FLOAT,
BUT THE STORM WILL RETURN,
BUT YOU KNOW I HAVE LEARNED,
THAT I HAVE THE STRENGTH TO ENDURE!

I STARE AT MY SEA WEATHERED HANDS,
AND MY LEGS FEEL TO WEAK TO STAND,
