Games
I have always loved games. I have played many of the typical hobby games, and currently am playing Diplomacy, through an e-mail Judge system (information at The Diplomacy Pouch). I have completed one game, as Russia:
FHE11.
This game I was not able to finish because of my visiting my sister in China, but since I was really strong at first I was able to get an emergingly strong ally (France), who luckily did not turn on me, and survive to the draw.
I am currently playing two games (and am considering abandoning the wretched world of computers as much as possible after I am through with them...):
Chaucer - I am Germany, and it is incredibly interesting!
Grapple3 - I am Turkey. It is interesting, I've experimented in several things, but it is "Gunboat" which means that there is no communications... - And I'm not allowed to talk to you if you're in the game...
I've been trying to get games running off of the net, with a little luck. The last game we barely managed to have 4 people, which I think is the bare minimum (7 is the maximum and is ideal).
I was first introduced to this game at PROMYS, the first summer program I ever went to, where I spent the summers after my Junior and Senior years of high school, and began to change my life...
Before that time, up to mid Junior year of High School I guess, I played games often at Atomic Comics Emporium, in Hampton VA.
