WORK EXPERIENCES

PeopleSoft Project Manager - 1996 – Present - Mount Carmel Health

this has been the most successful and rewarding part of my career. The project team was quite small, which afforded me the opportunity to learn all aspects of the PeopleSoft HRMS system. I have been recognized for my ability to comprehend and master complex processes and code very quickly. The executive sponsors on the project were particularily impressed with my straight forward business approach, that allowed the completion of the project on time an on budget.

HRIS Manager 1997–Present – Mount Carmel Health

Concurrent to my project management role, I was responsible for the HRIS department.My high energy level and attention to detail allowed me to be successful in all areas of this role as well. An external consulting firm commented at my ability to translate cumbersome policies and procedures into user friendly/functional documents.

Human Resource Development Manager 1996 - 1997 Mount Carmel Health System

My specific duties included development and training of Health Care managers, complete revamping of the hire/orientation process, productivity enhancement and numerous other tasks associated with the management of the Human Resources Development department.

Re-engineering Consultant, 1994-1996 Mount Carmel Health System

I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with extremely skilled external consultants during the business re-engineering at St Ann's Hospital. My direct responsibilities included delivering empowerment, communication, conflict resolution, time management and motivation training to all levels of management including the senior leadership team. Personal satisfaction came from developing the self-managed team model the hospital adoped.

Assistant Administrative Director of Clinical Laboratory, 1988-1994 MCHS

I was responsible for 58 FTEs and all administrative functions of the laboratory including staff development, cost benefit analysis, budgeting, quality assurance, scheduling, and regulatory practices. Part of this position also included system management responsibilities of the LIS. Implemented the barcode system.
