About Max Jayapaul's Cyberport
I made this web-site using Claris Home Page 2.0 from Claris Corp. (now called FileMaker, a subsidiary of Apple Corp.) and some of the gif images were made using Macromedia Fireworks from Macromedia. I picked up some gifs from Geocities, the guys who gave me space to put up my web pages. I got the URL redirection facilities (http://max-jayapaul.n3.net) from Domain Hosting Services free of charge! Thanks to the National Geographic for their Expedition maps that I've used in the "Friend Finder" page. I developed it using a Celeron 300A Mhz computer, AGP card at a resolution of 640 X 480 Bytes. It should work fine on IE 3.0, 4.0 and Netscape Navigator.
I scanned the snaps ("maxi" size) on a Sharp JX-330 Color scanner at 72 dpi in tiff format. Later I sharpened it at strength 5, converted to jpeg format with jpeg quality factor at 100% with True Color (24 bit) using Microsoft Photo Editor.
The snaps were taken with my Olympus Mu-II Zoom 80 and some on my dad's Yashica MF-2 using mostly Kodak films and rarely a Konica roll.
From January 2000, I'll be using Microsoft FrontPage 97 to develop and maintain the web pages. Some of the images were created using a combination of Microsoft Image Composer 1.0 and Microsoft Photo Editor.
Most of the images in the "Sci Fi and Horror Movies" page where taken from the respective VCD movies that I had. My brother Erix, used Microsoft Media Player and Professional Capture System's JasCapture. I've made some images using the export facility in Xing Player.
