Above: The Juffair dome. Its an indoor sports stadium catering to tennis (I once watched an exhibition match here between India and Australia featuring Vijay Amritraj and his brother), Volleyball, hand ball and basketball. In the foreground is a former colleague, Samatham, a programmer at Datamas whose office was just opposite the dome (not in picture)..

Above: A fancy looking pedestrian bridge near the Regency Intercontinental on the King Faisal highway.

Above: The new bridge that connects the island of Muharraq, in which the Bahrain International Airport is situated, to Manama, the capital of Bahrain. There is an older bridge to the right (not in the picture).
