Above: The Clock Tower roundabout in Deira.

Above: The Dubai Museum in Bur Dubai.  The actual museum is based underground.  It's similar to the Bahrain National Musuem in terms of displays but it's very small.  That's an ex-Karunyan, Sujit to my left who was on a software assignment in Dubai.

Above:: The Dubai Creek in the evening.  That's an Abra, a small boat that ferries people across the creek.

Above: Magnificent buildings dot Dubai's skyline.  Here are the Etisalat building to the left, one of the Dubai banks and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
