The Immortal was released by Electronic Arts in 1990. I remember receiving this game as a Christmas gift. I had seen a demo in the local Egghead Software store and immediately, the graphics lured me in. This is the greatest fantasy game ever made for the Apple IIGS. It featured 256 color graphics and a beautiful musical score. Unfortunately, the IBM version I have does not have the same awesome music featured on the IIGS version. It's a shame I can't use my USB gamepad with this game. Any help allowing me to use it with this game would be appreciated.

The Immortal follows that Adventure of an apprentice seeking to find his missing master Mordamir in the depths of a mountain inhabbited by a deadly dragon. This was one of the first games to utilize the orthagonal view. Combat for The Immortal featured duck, parry, swing and thrust. Originally, combat took place on the same screen as exploring, but when it was ported over to the IBM PC and Sega Genesis, a special combat screen was used which featured health and power bars.

This section of my site is in its infancy and your help is greatly appreciated. If you have anything which would help this section make a bigger and better one, please e-mail me and I will also give you credit and link to your site. For now, enjoy what I have and also explore some of the other games. Hopefully, my little hobby will keep these games living on. Thanks for visiting my site and enjoy!!
