February 7, 2001 news: Fix
available for Com Port failure in Windows. On some systems, Windows grabs
the COM port for another application but will not release it for use by
PkGOLD or KaGOLD.
The fix is simple: Get
the latest COMTEST program and run it before running PkGOLD or KaGOLD.
You can test your system, then create a BAT file to run comtest and PkGOLD
or KaGOLD.

Note: As of October 25, 2000 all programs have been revised and updated to handle the fastest computers running DOS, Windows 95/98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows NT. There are no versions at this time that will run under native Linux, however some users have been able to run the program in Linux with DOS emulation software.
You may download the Demo/Testdrive and run it on your system for test purposes.
Before you download any of the release version files, you must either have a USER ID from InterFlex Systems or e-mail authorization to download the files and unzip them to either a floppy disk, a CD, or other storage unit on your system.
You will still need a USER ID to install the program.
Note: Most of the "xxINSTAL.ZIP" files are under
500-K in size. If you download an "Install" version, be sure to download
the associated "Docfiles" as well and unzip both to a floppy before installing.
