Her birthday has also been shown as Sept 9, 1812. Unsure which is the
correct date.
Four of their daughters, SARAH JANE, MARY EMELINE, HARRIET MATILDA, and
MARTINA all died when they were young women (age 16-25). It is reported
they may have died as a result of an epidemic.
