Not confirmed that this individual is the father of ANNA MARIE LOY.
Likely his wife was CATHERINE FAUST, but this has not been proved.
Records show that he owned land in Draper's Meadow, VA which was adjacent
to AARON & GEORGE SHARP.
MARTIN LOY arrived in America on Sep 26, 1741. Emigrated to NC ca 1755.
Source: Pg 170, "Know your Relatives - The Sharps". He arrived at Phil,
PA on 26 Sep 1741 aboard the ship "St. Mark". He served in the Bucks Co.
(PA) Militia during the Revolutionary War. His will named four children:
George, John, Mary & Henry. Ref. pg 36, Dec 1995 issue of the Sharp
