  • Threat Agent Detection and Response (TADR) and Bio Safety and Bio Security (BS&S) Procurement Subprojects Management, Project Management
    10 M$ (FY2004) Project on implementation of IT systems for bio surveillance network in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Azerbaijan, a part of Common Threat Reduction Program of the US Government.
    Organizes and manages IT Equipment procurement and installation (HP, Cisco, Microsoft) following the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for the first three Proof of Concept sites in Georgia through a Georgian subcontractor.
    Organizes and manages IT Training of 300+ end-users and IT specialists for the Electronic Integrated Disease Surveillance System (EIDSS), Pathogen Asset Control System (PACS) and Collaborative Biological Research (CBR) in Kazakhstan, Georgia and Uzbekistan.

    Negotiated Subcontract terms and conditions with the construction oversight subcontractor; facilitated in the start-up of the St Petersburg officeof BVSPC.

  • Automated Inventory Control & Management System (AICMS) Design Assessment and Analysis40 M$ (FY2003) Project on construction and deployment of 19 Facilities at Nuclear Weapon Storage sites throughout Russia, a part of Common Threat Reduction Program between Russian and the US Government.
    Develops IT Solutions in collaboration w/ Russian Ministry of Defence and US DoD - Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Assesses and Analyses Modular Facility and Central Command Post LAN Designs. Determined WAN requirements, RFP and carried out the bid, assessed proposed WAN Solutions. Reviews proposed Information Protection System Design and Information Protection Means. Negotiates with potential subcontractors, prepares contracts.

  • AICMS Certification (Hardware and Software). Certification and commissioning of some AICMS Hardware (HP,  Allied Telesyn) and AICMS Software (Oracle, HP, Ross Systems).

    Prepared and carried out analysis of WMS Potential bottlenecks, identified their sources, and assessed possible measures for resolution. Investigated transition from 10 Mbit to 100 Mbit LAN.
