Matthew was born first thing in the morning on June 7.  The whole family is thrilled to have him - Nathan and our dog Redmond are adjusting quite well to the changes around the house, and they're loving the extra attention from both sets of grandparents.  Nathan calls Matthew "be be" (his version of "baby") or "dee dee" (little brother in Mandarin), and loves to touch his little toes.  We're thankful that he's been sleeping through Matthew's crying, even in the middle of the night... People told us that #2 would be so much easier, and it definitely has...By the end of the first week, we were able to sleep through the night fairly peacefully, only waking up twice at night.  We realize that the real challenge will come once we have 2 energetic boys running all over the house, but for now, we're thankful that we only have to run after one hyper toddler. We appreciate all the calls and well wishes, and we apologize if we've been slow to return your calls.  But we look forward to introducing you to Baby Matt in person soon!
