Vajrapani (Jin Gang Shou in Chinese; Chana Dorje in Tibetan; Kongo Shu in Japanese) Bodhisattava.  The bodhisattva who personifies the energy and power of the Buddha.  The following images depict him in his wrathful form, standing on a sun disc and wielding a vajra in his right hand.  His body is dark blue in color.  He wears a tiger skin around his waist and a snake around his neck.  In his peaceful form, Vajrapani is represented as a dark blue bodhisattva holding a lotus flower on which his principal symbol, the vajra, is rested.
