NetHack 3.4.2!
NetHack has had a minor update that includes mostly bug fixes. For the
most part, it fixes a number of crashing problems. Problems I have never
encountered myself anyway. It does include a few changes for the Pocket
PC interface:
| Added fullscreen mode for Pocket PC |
| Added option to wrap long lines of text |
| Added shortcut to switch between normal and
fit-to-screen map modes |
This is all good and well except maybe the fullscreen
option. Sure, it takes away your start menu bar for more room, but it
makes it harder to multi-task or see what time it is or how much battery
power you have left. :) It's an option you either want or don't want at
times. I have not found a way to turn it off or on as an option. The
wordwrap is great and I have no qualms with it. You can turn it off or
on anyway. As for the shortcut for the map modes? This is awesome. I use
that mode a lot. So much quicker to have it available with one click
now.
Download NetHack 3.4.2
for Pocket PC, or visit the
official website for this and other Windows CE ports.
