Welcome to my personal website. The purpose of this site is to provide a description of myself, as well as some useful information.

I believe that there is much that can be done to reduce negative environmental and social impacts without drastic changes to the way people live, or affecting the profitability of commercial organisations. Sustainable development is making things better without selling the future, and there are many more challenges to face than just reducing your carbon footprint e.g. rethinking how economies work, the way we live and interact with others, and how to achieve a good quality of life.

I have a broad range of skills that would be useful to organisations in their sustainable development efforts, including advanced consulting skills and a proven track record in delivering complex projects. However the key skills I have which would be useful in sustainable development:

• Change management - to involve others and win hearts and minds, as well as achieving the transformation to sustainable businesses practices)

• Performance monitoring - to drive progress and evidence achievement of programme outcomes

• Stakeholder engagement - to ensure all relevant parties are involved in key decisions

• Subject knowledge (through studying a Masters in Sustainable Development) - in order to understand the issues and what to do

• Passion/initiative - to drive the change
