USEFUL INFORMATION

Here are some useful links. I will continue to add to this list as time goes on, but these links are some of the more useful sources of information I have found over the years.

A great book which is the bible for working with emerging technologies: "Managing Emerging Technologies"

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0471689394/qid=1139152421/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_2_1/026-9981482-5738866

(In fact, this is an updated version of the original from 2000)

Emerging Technologies at Wharton: http://emertech.wharton.upenn.edu/

It has been running since 1899 and has just been revamped. It contains in-depth and brief information on the latest industry-changing innovations, as well as individual companies making waves in emerging technologies: http://www.technologyreview.com/

I have found ITToolbox to be useful in finding out about the latest announcements from big and small companies, product category reviews, and all of this is done as soon as it happens: http://emergingtech.ittoolbox.com/

Also various companies have websites dedicated to research and discussions on cutting edge technologies and their impact, such as Intel and Accenture.
