As I told you in my last entry, my windows 2000 would not connect to the internet. Well, I decided that tonight I would go through the harrowing ordeal of reformatting my hard drive. In preperation for doing so, I uninstalled almost every program. I then restarted my computer so that it could finish removing some of the uninstalled files. Out of morbid curiosity I started up Internet Explorer. My windows 2000 now connects to the outside world completely without difficulty. I can do nothing but assume something I uninstalled spontaneously waved a dead chicken over my hard drive and caused it to revert to its good old self... minus all of my applications. Some of those were hard to get, too. I have no words for the amount of frustration I am feeling right now, but they involve guns, baseball bats, electromagnets, and a stapler. Plus, it makes me saaaaaaaad. At least I still have all my mp3's and movies.
In other news, I played volleyball from about 6:30 to around 11:30 this evening. I had a lot of fun and I think I strained a muscle in my leg. I also have sand in places I don't even want to think about. And I'm out of Dr. Pepper. Wow, the list goes on.
So, I just wanted to share with ya'll, so you wouldn't be worried about the awful horribleness of having to use win98. Now I get to go download, beg, borrow, and steal some apps so I can resume my trip to world domination..... maybe tomorrow.
The band of the day is Weezer. Hooray! MTV2 is overplaying them in the most degrading way, however.
