You've got your problems, I've got my hash pipe.
Went up to Maine for my cousin Edward's wedding. Actually, he is my mom's cousin, but thats okay. It was just my brother and me, but we had a lot of fun. Ended up paying about 10 dollars in tolls altogether.
On a completely unrelated side note: We are answering email questions sent to the helpdesk here in the computer center. And I happened across this little gem.
Hi, Perhaps you can help me with some information..
We live in the Norwich area and seem to be experiencing an
unusual amount of bats this year...How can we keep them out
of the house??? And what could be drawing them to this area?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Someone tell the voices to leave me alone!
Anyway, the wedding was a lot of fun. Edward is a Lieutenant in the Air Force, stationed down in Virginia, but he was raised in Mechanic Falls, Maine. Apparently he and Chris (his new bride) had known each other for about 10 years before they started going out... and then they decided to get married. Their last slow song before they left was "At Last" *grin*.
My uncle David did a little impromptu swing lesson while the DJ was replacing the amp that blew out. (whoops) It was fun. My brother and I danced a whole bunch, and our cousin Patrick did his disco thing *grin*. I also got to talk with a couple of my younger cousins (Terrence is about ten I think, and Bethany is about eight. Don't quote me on that, though) Anyway, both of them are unbearably cute, with lots n' lots of freckles and Maine accents. I touched Bethany's nose and she thought it was unbearably hilarious. For the rest of the night, whenever I got near her, she would giggle uncontrollably and try to touch my nose. Terrence was telling me about Jurassic Park 3, until we had to go watch Edward and Chris cut the wedding cake.
We got up the next morning around eight, and played tennis for a little while, until we had to head home so I could be in Storrs at 4:40, cause I had an exam. I hadn't played tennis in about six years, so I didn't do too well. We ended up playing cutthroat tennis (my uncle David made it up on the spot) and my brother won.
Doooo be doo bee doo...
