Had a guy call the Helpdesk earlier today to complain about the red tape. I had to stifle laughter and frustration all at once. I mean, I know that most of the crap we have to do is silly, but they shouldn't have to put up with more than name and phone number. *shrug* Jared has suggested working for Resnet, but I don't know... I'm just frightened of change and instability... and I can't really afford to miss a paycheck at this point.

Just read all of Tyr's archives. It was fun. Plus it relieved the mind-numbing boredom of work. Huzzah! Although, all-in-all, I like it better when no one calls.

I was also reading through RavenBlack's archive at one point, and clicked on his IMDB link for that awful Billy Zane made for TV movie that was on a while ago. I remember watching it w/ Tyr. It was pretty awful. The thing that cracked me up, though, was the link at the bottom of the page that said "if you liked this movie, we recommend:" and I think they actually had a link there. I think I prefer my version (the one that cracked me up). If you liked this movie, we recommend: sticking your head in a blender, so that you cannot spread your evil. Althought this applies to people who like anything unacceptable. The movie really wasn't that bad, but I was inspired, and hey, you gotta take trash talk inspiration when and where you can.

On my way home from work now.

Yay for not being bored silly at work. Now I am in my happy place. The place where people do not call me to complain. The place where I am not surrounded by people attempting to tell me how to do my job. I can sit and ignore the phone, and browse whatever web page I want. No one will tell me to talk quietly. I can listen to my music, and meditate on black pixels, marching into infinity. Which reminds me, the resolution on my computer is so much freaking better! Yay for AIM and computer games. Yay for relaxation.

I got a 24 out of 27 on my Intro to Film Exam. Professor Bob (his name is Bob Smith, I kid you not) said that this was the best a class had done that he can remember. I didn't think it was that hard, but I'm going to have to study better, because I should not have gotten three wrong. He says that the biggest danger now is getting cocky and not preparing adequately in the future. I don't think that will be a problem. We should be starting to watch actually interesting films this week (Griffith was interesting, but Man With a Movie Camera, not so much), so that will help as well, plus I really like his lectures. I'm always disappionted when it's time to leave, as opposed to my other classes when I can't wait to get out of there.

Current most overplayed song on my computer (IMO, could ask Tyr for his opinion): Moby's James Bond Theme Remix. Good stuff. "Do you expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"

That is all.
