Went to the Dave concert on Saturday with Valerie and some friends. It was a lot of fun, except for the sitting in the traffic for an hour and a half. Luckily it didn't rain much, but it was very muddy. People were falling down all night in the muddy bit, and people laughed and clapped whenever they did. Fortunately, we found a good spot fairly quickly and without falling down. Our feet kind of hurt from standing on the slope the whole time, though.
We got there in time for the end of Granny (the first song of the night), which is too bad, cause thats one of my favorites. Got to hear a couple older songs, and a whole bunch off of his new album. He played one line from "Captain", but that was it for the Lillywhite Sessions the whole night. I wish he had played "Diggin a Ditch", or, heck!, any of the songs from last summer's tour. We did get to hear "Drive In, Drive Out", and "The Song That Jane Likes" which was really cool.
This is the last week of my summer class. Yay! The final is on Thursday. Boo! Seth and I did our Software Engineering project, but the teacher said to fix one more thing before he'll take it. Hopefully we can get it done this week, so we can get a couple weeks of worry-free vacation before going back to school. This is stretching out into forever!
I went through all the trouble of writing an update yesterday, and then neglected to post a link from the main page... so I was the only one who knew. Interesting paradox. If a page is updated in the middle of a forest, and no one is around to link to it, does it still make a noise?
