Our party went awesomely, everyone had a fantastic time, although a couple people did slightly misjudge the amount of alcohol they could take (some less slightly than others). Cleanup went fairly well, thanks to a lot of help and we finished up today by vacuuming.

The DMB concert was great. I was just reading some reviews of the concert on one of the biggest DMB fansites on the net (www.nancies.org if you're interested) and a lot of the hardcore fans were disappointed with the setlist and the crowd and Hartford in general. I enjoyed myself, though. Candace and I were up on the lawn and we had some good people around us, including one guy who hit the "Hey! Hey!" in Recently spot on, which was fantastic. Everyday with the #36 outro was great, it always is. Too much was fun and Pig was great, first time I've ever heard it in concert. So Much to Say was good and the bridge was kick-ass, as always, and then Warehouse was fucking awesome (pardon my Sperethiel). The intro was great. I absolutely love Stone, and it was fantastic to hear, especially the fading outro with the last loud frenzy after everyone thinks the song is over. Reminded me of my first Dave concert at The Meadows where they played Lie in Our Graves and after the jam section, they faded and just stopped before kicking back in with "I can't believe that we would lie in our graves...". I like If I had it All and I Did It is a high energy song, even if it is one of my least favourites and very short. Fool to Think was okay, but you know... I wouldn't have minded something else (Space Between, for instance! If you want something off of Everyday). Two Step was great, although it was shorter last night than the other times I have heard it in concert, the solos in between each verse were a lot of fun. Recently was absolutely great, great, great, along with Stay. I had a blast, danced up a storm and sang my heart out. We didn't get to meet up with Alyssa, who was also there with Larissa's mom, apparently. We got our t-shirts, which were 28 bucks apiece (still not thirty. Thirty is the limit. *grin*) and I picked one up for Val. I still don't know where my fire dancer shirt is... somewhere at home, I'm sure.

Now I need to get some laundry soap, because I'm out and I have a full basket ready to go. Hmm... :) By the way, I am the lasagna making king, and my next batch will be even better! Plus, we'll have left overs from it *grin*. Time to make the tacos.

That is all.
