About Me & My Family

I was born in the land of wonders, India. I had a great childhood, most part of which was spent with my family and friends in Hyderabad, India. My family and friends are a very important part of my life. I have been blessed with the most wonderful parents in the whole world. They have influenced my life in a big way, through their unending love, support, and continuous encouragement. I am also very proud of my two younger brothers who are very dear to me.

Academic Life & Career

I went to school at All Saints High School in Hyderabad. After I graduated from high school in 1988, I attended Little Flower Junior College for my intermediate education(+2 level). In 1990, I started working towards a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, from Osmania University in Hyderabad. After finishing my Bachelors degree in 1994, I decided to pursue higher education and moved to the United States. I got a Master's degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1996.

Immediately after I finished my first masters degree, I started working as a Project Engineer for CGN & Associates in North Carolina, providing on-site consulting services to Caterpillar Inc. In Spring of 1999 I decided to study some more, and got enrolled at North Carolina State University, for my second masters degree, in Computer Science.

As I continue to work full-time at Caterpillar and study full-time at NCSU, I expect to graduate with my second masters by Summer, 2000. I have accepted a job at CoSine Communication and plan on moving to California in June, 2000. I will be working as a member of their Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) team. I am looking forward to this new experience.

Hobbies

My hobbies include playing volleyball, football, cricket, ping-pong, tennis, and some golf. I also like travelling, camping at the mountains, relaxing at the beaches, watching movies, and hanging out with my friends.
