We offer you the ability to use some of the most popular search engines on the net, such as Google, Yahoo, Infoseek, Excite, WebCrawler, HotBot, Lycos, AltaVista, and AOL NetFind. In addition, we have included some possibly lesser known and/or newer searches like MetaCrawler, Magellan, LookSmart, Northern Light, Starting Point, LinkStar, and Scrub The Web.
MetaCrawler is a great search engine that works by searching other search engines.
LookSmart is a new search engine from Australia, which uses a different style of listing categories for searches, that some may prefer.
Starting Point allows you to list your web site and see your listing within the hour, and then adds it to a list of new sites for others to see, and vote on, over a 24 hour period. The site with the most votes, becomes the Hot Site of the day.
LinkStar is also an excellent place to list your home page since you will be able to see your listing within 3 hours. Also, click on LinkStar to check out the customized search form that LinkStar provides with the title of your, or in this case our, home page.
If you are looking for a person or information about a person, then AnyWho or WhoWhere? may be the way to go.
If you are looking for a search engine tailored to a particular niche, or you would just like to see what else is available besides the "biggies", then click on Beaucoup and work from their big (over 1200) list of search links.
