We had some nice weather for the Delta with fog early in the morning but the fish were a little smaller than usual. In first place with 11.70 lbs was John Robles he said he found the fish out deeper in the channels in front of the weeds in 10-15 ft of water. He said he caught six on a drop shot with a 6� red worm and one fish on a Carolina rigged watermelon baby brush hog. He said he had most of his bites from 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and only seven keepers . In second place with a limit for 11.55 lbs was Mike Riggio who was fishing with John and doing the same thing outside the weed lines in the channels with worms. In third place with 11.15 lbs was Jack Ray.

In fourth place with 10.60 lbs was Matt Rogers . He forgot to e-mail his report.
In fifth place with 10.30 lbs was Ray Garcia he said he caught his fish on Texas rigged baby brush hogs on the deeper side of the banks with rip rap and weeds. He caught fish both on the incoming and outgoing tides.
The big fish of the day a 6.72 lber was caught by Jason Giamonna who said he caught it on a Carolina rigged baby watermelon brush hog in the channel near some weeds and poles.The second big fish of the day was caught by Scott Chong while fishing a texas rigged sweet beaver on the outside edge of the weedline. When his partner started to cross the channel on high and the big fish hit he started to yell stop the boat as the fish was thrashing around he managed to drag it across to the other side.
