Seeing as I've hardly bothered to develop my site, here's something to take up a little space until...whenever.

Gary Moore: On-again, off-again guitarist for Thin Lizzy during the 70s; a tremendously underrated songwriter, guitarist and singer, at least within the U.S. A compilation of his solo stuff (released in 1994) that I picked up yesterday has left me prostrated (no...I don't need a urologist...but thanks for your concern) before the stereo -- his guitar playing is immensely soulful, his songs' chord structures are emotionally moving, and the wounded vulnerability he projects in his lyrics and vocal inflections is so....I dunno what. Good stuff. To hell with the Superbowl.
