Pedal steel guitars are amazing instruments. It's always seemed to me that they combine what I like about lap steel guitar without the shortcoming of not being able to change the pitch of the individual strings while you're playing chord.
For a long time I wanted to learn to play Pedal Steel, and after looking for one locally I wound up buying a professional-quality instrument. Of course, then I never got around to actually learning to play the thing!
Here are some pictures of my MSA. I'm now in the process of figuring out the best forum for selling it. If I were to put an ad up for it today, it would read something like this:
MSA Classic in perfect shape. Dual 10-string necks, aluminum body, "Supersustain" humbucking pickups, eight pedals, four knee levers. Comes w/case and 10-Volume Set of Jeff Newman instructional books & records.
The instrument is located in North Carolina, in case you were wondering.
