Just upgraded from a hub to a switch a few months ago. A 16-Port switch to be exact very doubtful I'll use up all 16-ports let alone 6 ports. I have a computer network at home and here are some of the pictures of it. I have three desks next to my bar and zig-zag'n around it. The three desks are shaped in a "Z". This is just one of three computer corners I have. The other two are just spare parts. |
Directly in front of the white chair you'll see a computer, which is the one that's on in the picture. This is my DNS server. This is a Celeron 500MHz/66 with 512Megs of RAM. A 40gig 7200rpm Hard Drive. This will eventually be a dual-booting machine.

This picture is actually fliped around. This two monitors on top of one another-one is for the pc directly below the stacked monitors and the other is for the one directly on the right side of the pic. (the blue case). The pc below the monitor is a Pentium 166MHz/66. This needs just a little bit of work done to it then it's done. The blue cased tower is my server. It's an AMD K-7/700MHz. This needs to be built. I don't have the money nor the time to work on it right yet. This will have a 120gig and an 80gig 7200rpm hdd's in it. |

This is just an "over-all" big picture. In this picture you can see another pc (lower left corner). That is another computer. This is an older pc that needs to case slid on it. This has Linux RedHat 7.3 on it. I am ashamed of posting the specs of this computer |

My Tower is 32' high, with a 5' tall metal pipe shoved in the center mast hole and on top of that is an old gutter mount mobile antenna that you can't see. But what you see in the picture is a TV antenna. People laugh at me for this one but I have a set of "rabit ears" sitting on top of the tower. But hey I get more channels then what I did before. Here is my summer project: These are sitting in my backyard right now. The longest section there I hauled with my riding lawn mower acrossed town. I pulled a Ted Clampit. These two antenna tower's in which need to be cut and then linked together. I'm gonna guess here it's well over 50' tall (I will have the exact measurement on it later). I hope to have this put up by the end of this fall |

Click on the below pic to enlarge it Here are some quotes from State and Federal Emergency Management Laws: IEMA Act (Illinois State Law)=(Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act ACT 3305) 3305/4. Definitions=""Emergency Management" means the efforts of the State and the political subdivisions to develop, plan, analyze, conduct, provide, implement and maintian programs for disaster migitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery." "Emergency Services and Disaster Agency" means the agency estabilshed by ordinance within a policial subdivision to coordinate the emergency management program within that political subdivision to coordinate the emergency amangenet program within that polictical subdivision and with tprivate organizations, other polictical subdivisions, the State and federal governments". Under definistions it gives definitions for "Coordinator:, Disaster", Disaster Training Exercise, Emergency Mangement, Emegency Services and Disaster Agency, Emergency Operations Plan, Emergency Services, Illinois Emergency Management Act, Mobile Support Team, Municiapality, Policital Subdivision, and Prinicple Executive Officer. Nothing about Civil Defense. Click Here for a letter that FEMA wrote me about starting Grand Tower EMA.I know this person that wrote this letter that's how come I had to smudge part of his name. In word format In texted format In html format for a letter that I sent to Grand Tower city board member officals regarding me starting Grand E.M.A. This is another letter that I wroteIn word format In txt format In html format This is another letter that I sent out. And this is the letter that was sent back to me. |
Click on the below pic ot enlarge it Hey Grand Tower does this look fimilar!!! It's a joke that's what it is.There is no such thing as Civil Defense. If there was then what are the intials of the Federal Agency involved in Civil Defense be? Is it FCD (Federal Civil Defense),FESDA (Federal Emergency Services and Disaster Agency)or is it FEMA? What the heck to you think your running down here in Grand Tower.By the way,I've been trying to get Grand Tower EMA started for a while BUT the board told me to basically shut up and that I need not to talk because they've(the board)have got a lot of things to talk about.Yeah and so do I,like making Grand Tower legal.I am going to start Grand Tower EMA!!!I'm the only one involved in Emergency Management that has FEMA training, that lives in Grand Tower, so don't you think that someone like that should run/start an EMA agency? It says that you'll be testing your sirens on the first Wednesday of each month, yeah right I've been here for two years and never heard the sirens being tested. It also says:"A pulsating blast means an air raid alert" What does Grand Tower have to defend during an air raid? (no factorys that can be turned into a war parts line instead of assembly lines (building different war items when needed during wars)If you've guessed nothing then your correct.Gee and you wonder why you can't get grants to get different EMA things becuase you don't know what your doing!Let someone run it that nows what there doing, like me. |

Your not helping at ALL.Do us all a favor FCC and give the amateur radio department of your agency to the ARRL(American Radio Relay League).
