Penalties
Violation of the rules of Myth will result in consequences. The more severe the offense, the more severe the penalty.
Penalties come in three flavors:
Warning
The least severe penalty, a warning is a helpful reminder to follow the rules of Myth. Warnings are usually the result of relatively minor offenses. Assuming corrective action is taken, the warning will not carry many, if any, long term effects. However, ignoring warnings and continuing the offending behavior will result in more severe penalties.
Suspension
If a player continues behavior after being warned, or if an action is particularly disruptive, that player may be suspended. A suspension generally lasts 24 hours, but may be longer or shorter, as appropriate. Suspensions are serious, and if a player does not correct behavior after being suspended, a longer suspension may be imposed. Alternately, players who do not learn from repeated suspensions may be banned.
Banning
The most severe penalty, banning results in a player being totally denied from the game permanently. A banning is generally the result of extreme or gross violations of policy and rules.
